Fall is here

and so are halloween preperations. As of right now, this is as far as my ideas have gotten.

What do you think? It would be so much fun to get a yellow rain jacket and rainboots and be Coraline or just be Rosie and get a red bandanna and and denim shirt. Hmmm... both are so tempting.

Peachy pictures

So I mentioned in my last post that derek and I had tried canning. Oh it was such a fun day we drove down to Casa Grande and canned about 70 lbs of peaches with his mama. It was so much fun to can, and even more fun to photograph. (he also had me take some really cool pictures for our christmas presents for his siblings) Anyway we came away with about 30 something cans of peaches and a dozen jars of jam, peach and raspberry peach. Who would have thought that raspberry peach would be my favorite. And the lighting in her kitchen was amazing!

Gym

Derek and I got a gym membership this last month. I love it, I feel so healthy while at the gym. But in all reality I don't care about healthy I just want to look like the girls that wear the sports bras and booty shorts and look good. Is that too much to ask?

My summer...

Remember in grade school when you would have to write the dreaded, "what I did this summer..." paper. Okay maybe you didn't but I thought it would be fun to write one, okay maybe not write but depict my fully fun blasted summer. (I just wish I had more pictures) Here we go...

Derek and I took a handful of road trips down to Tucson and Casa Grande. Those was the days before we had air conditioning, it was pretty tough.

One day we woke up drove down to Tucson, and hung out with Derek's sister and her family. Then we drove back up to the valley and went to a D-backs game. (this was still in the days of no air conditioning)  It was a bummer cause we were an hour late and got their during the 5th inning, but we were blessed to have a concert after wards.
Who could ask for a better post concert than Lifehouse. They did a stinking good job, even better than I remember as a kid.
We went to quite a few diamondback games, we are with them through thick and thin. No fair weather fans in our house!
We love to feed people so we had friends and family over to eat, even when we didn't have seating.
We were always really cozy even if it was warm outside.
We even celebrated our two month wedding anniversary, (the same day as National Chocolate Milk Day) with some good amigos.

We took a road trip all the way to Georgia to see Michael graduate from basic training.(doesn't he look so grown up)
We truly are so proud of him. I swear that is one of the best looking families I have ever seen.
And to get to the airport from Fort Bening we had to get quite cozy in our little mini van. (Doesn't mom look so happy in that little corner)

Like I said we had to get real cozy.
Michael even fell asleep on Derek's shoulder. (tender)

We even celebrated the twins 18th birthday at a Diamondback game.
Then it was my day to celebrate yet another birthday. 24 here I come! Derek woke me up at 610 in the morning to give me my first gift, Grimms Complete Fairy Tales. And give me an absolutely awesome homemade card.
And he even surprised me a with a fabulous birthday gift that I never saw coming.
June, Derek's mom, even took us to Famous Dave's BBQ for my birthday!
Well, that is about all I have for my photo illustration of my summer. Minus the parts where I show you wedding pictures and honeymoon pictures (I showed you honeymoon pics, but it'll be awhile till I show you wedding pictures, my dvd player on my computer isn't working)

pictures

okay so i lied to you there are no pictures in this post, but I really want to post pictures and I hate how blogger uploads them out of order, how do i add pictures in the order I want?
