Scrapbooking

There are few hobbies I truly dislike to do but scrapbooking is something I truly do not enjoy. Come on, who really enjoys cutting itty bitty pieces of paper, and gluing those pieces together and then coming up with cutesy phrases, it's really all too much for me. But the other problem is I have all these pictures from our wedding and my mission that I would really like to scrapbook, so I have decided to do some online photobooks, I would really like to try the online scrapbooking but I don't know where to start on that. But as of right now I highly recommend shutterfly. And when I am finished with our wedding album I will be sure to share it with ya'll.

I never win

Until TODAY. I have seriously given up on putting my name in for drawings and entering contests. But last week Derek and I were at one of our favorite local shops Pop the Soda Shop . They have the widest variety of sodas I have ever seen and everyone there is super knowledegeable of the sodas so they can always recommend something good. But I am not going to lie I do have my favorites. Anyway so we were there wednesday night buying some pops to take over to the in-laws casa and while we were there they were having some kind of raffle,  I didn't know what for nor did I care, I just wanted to win something so I quickly scribbled my name and info down and completly forgot about it. Until today I recieved an email that said

Wow! What more could a girl ask for? Well, frankly I didn't even know what a Cream Whip was, but I was so excited I jumped up and down I yelled and I called Derek. So Derek's family came over for dinner and what goes better with pizza but soda, so we drove over to Pop, to pick up my prize and some soda, and I did some research and I am so stoked to have my very own whipper, essentially it makes whipped cream and other light and airy desserts. So I never win anything... until now.

Ready. Set. Private...

Pin a rose on your nose

I finished my final cake decorating class for the first series and I have mastered the rose, okay maybe not mastered but I can make one. So there. :)

I dislike it when people follow your blog, but theirs is set to private. Or when people add you but they do it annonymously. Just to let you know, I say this with love. ;)

Cakery

Oh how I love cakes and i have wanted to take classes, well the day is finally here. I have begun my classes and sure my cakes would qualify for Cake Wrecks I am still learning and have a long time till my cakes can actually be sold rather than just handed out at work. Someday I will have a beautiful little bakery and cakery but until that day has arrived I can reflect on how far I have come.

Why

Why is it November and we still have the aircondioner on? Some may say this is a good thing. But frankly 90 degrees is not fall weather. I just want to eat grilled cheese and tomotao soup and wear a sweater. Is that too much to ask?
