my top border was supposed to be a rope border, but i ran out of frosting and needed to use the shell border, it came out okay, but other than that my flowers came out pretty good.

Cake truffles
A day full of updates... hahah can you tell I am bored. Last week one of Derek's co-workers was having a wedding shower and he requested I make cakepops. Here is the outcome, they came out really cute, but took quite a bit of time, but it's worth it when something tastes as good as these babies.
These amazing cake truffles got me to into making a whole heap for a wedding. Let me tell you I am so stoked.
Matrimonials
I know I know I am a dork, we have been married for 9 months this month and I have still yet to share wedding photos. And we all know how I love doing photo blogs, well that was just too much work for an event I love so so much. And someone had asked to see our wedding photos so I made a photo site. I know kind of dorky, but it is the website we upload all or photos to before we print them, so it was just easier. So if you want to see my photo page here is the link, I can't gurantee how often it'll be updated but you can see my wedding photos.

Running late
I used to be on time to everything, in fact I felt if I wasn't going to be 15 minutes early it would be better to just not go. I am the same way with my blog if I don't happen to update within one day I don't want to blog about it. But alas here I am with so many fun things happening and wanting to blog about all of our fun events in the last month. So I am just going to cheat and update with pictures and few words.
We went to Derek's work party, which was really fun. Who doesn't like to buy new clothes and dress up. They had a handful or raffles and we won 4 items out of about 20. (we had a lucky streak)
So we won tickets to the PHX Coyotes, a starbucks gift card, $150 to the ballet, and our biggest prize was a Wii, who would have thought we would have been so lucky.
I also baked another cake, her favorite colors were pink and black, I think it looks more like a corset than for an 11 year olds birthday. But she loved it. My lines could have went higher, and I need to work on my writing but my shells are looking pretty good.
Derek and I went to the Nutcracker, I was nervous he wouldn't like it but he really enjoyed the story line. He said the second half had too much dancing but it was pretty good.
Christmas was a blast, we both got things we wanted and needed. I got a ton of baking stuff, and he has lots of new toys.
Derek had mentioned wanting homemade stockings and I was oh too willing. They weren't done by christmas eve so we improvisved.
About two weeks after Christmas I finally finished our stockings and I might say they look quite amazing.
For New Years we went to Tiffany's house (derek's sister) and made homemade pizza, and played the Wii Beatles Rockband, we told her it was the only way we would come.
To start off the new year, we hung out with friends in the mountains at Cody's cabin. We played in the snow and read books, and played lots of fun games.
And we're so excited to be healthy happy and together. May we be able to see all of our friends and family in 2010.
(notice derek's pants are still rolled up, hahah. I love that man)
