Practically over

Wow! My pregnancy has flown by. I am so excited to have this little boy come into our home and join our little family. Derek and I have done so much in the last few months. We even took a "babymoon" to Flagstaff and traveled through Bearizona which was such a fun experience. We sipped tons of hot chocolate, watched lot's of Sherlock, snuggled and watched the snow fall. It was such a wonderful trip I enjoyed our "last vacation" together.

Now onto the belly pictures!

Baby Holden, consider this your eviction notice. Mom and Dad are ready to meet you!

38 Weeks!!

AHH BABY HOLDEN IS ALMOST HERE!!! And my body is definitely not taking it very well.... I don't mean to be a complainer but my hands are numb constantly and my lower back is killing. There are so many things I am scared to death about this lil one coming but those are two things I can not wait till they go away.... those and sleeping on my belly, oh how I miss sleeping on my belly.

Well, like I said Holden's due date is quickly approaching and I feel as ready as I can. We are as excited as we can be. Although I think Derek is a little more nervous than I am, on Black Thursday we did some shopping and around midnight I had some uncomfortable contractions, not horrible just uncomfortable. I kept saying at least we're close to our hospital he continued to look like he was going to be sick. Poor guy! It's okay once he sees this lil one all will be well, and then we wont get sleep and it will all be a blur :) Well, here is hoping he comes on time and not late.

Derek and I love Halloween, we love getting dressed up, we love the smells, the food, the colors, we just love fall! But we love being competitive and creative when it comes to our Halloween costumes. This year we are participating in a costume contest for last years costume (don't worry, I am working on this years and it's going to be good!) Our contest is on The Dating Divas site and voting starts on the 16th. Just to remind you, this was our wicked cute costume last year!

Weeks 25 and 29

Man... I really need to work on posting! Life has been good, this pregnancy has been kind to me, work is grand and Derek is still hot! Derek is actually participating in a triathlon on Saturday! Such a stud, he will do so awesome! Let's see, we have a super studly baby growing so much, he has become so active in the last week, my belly is constantly moving. I love it! My cravings are pretty simple I am loving lemonade, bean and cheese burritos from taco bell, apples, oranges, shaved ice and sushi! YUM! Well, let's see some big ole baby bump pictures! I feel like I am all belly but I have definitely put on lbs else where lol.

23 weeks!

I haven't been particularly good at taking pregnancy pictures until about 20 weeks. When we first found out we were pregnant we purchased a pretty frame and had plans to turn it into a chalkboard and document my weeks. But I was so sick till about 17 weeks when Derek helped me to finish the project. So I figured I would show the progression. It's kinda crazy I don't feel that big, I'm still wearing my pre-pregnancy pants with some stretchy tops or pregnancy tops but when I look at the pictures or in the mirror I feel like I am HUGE!! lol  So here are some fun pics from the last few weeks. Ps The last picture was taken in the evening so I feel like I was bigger than I was that morning lol

Update: I measured my belly that night and then the next morning... it was the same size.... it looks like Baby H is growing real quick.

It's a BOY!

Last Monday Derek and I got to go to the doctor and enjoy an ultra sound. Talk about an awesome experience, the more that happens with little bean the more real it is feeling. But as Derek says Pinterest and Blogs put too many lofty ideas into my head... it probably does but I always enjoy doing something I find from the net. So a few weeks prior to the ultra sound I asked Derek if we could do a Gender-Reveal party, he said it would be fun if we had family here but none of our friends would really care... I beg to differ. So since he shot that idea down I decided I still wanted to do something memorable to find out the gender of bean. So the day before I finally decided what I wanted to do, we would go to the ultra sound and ask the tech to write down the gender and put it in envelope and we would swing by our friends Laura and Jordan and they would then fill a box with balloons and then come over and we would open the box and find out what bean's gender was, while Laura took pictures. It ended up working out perfectly, we had a blast and I love the pictures that Laura had taken for us. So with much further adiu I shall introduce you to baby Glazier.
side view... isn't he so cute!
and his tiny lil foot.
And the excitement on my husbands face is priceless!
and for those who love belly shots... I feel like it came out of nowhere.
so I hope that has given you a quick lil update on what is going on in the lives of the glaziers three.

The rhythm of my heart.

Yesterday was my first doctors appointment and it was probably the most amazing moment in my life. I have been carrying around bump for 17 weeks now but it has never truly felt real until yesterday when we got to hear the heartbeat. It was the most surreal moment in my life to hear those little flutters, we are officially having a baby and truly feels amazing!

We scheduled our ultrasound for two more weeks so we will be able to find out the gender. I am super tempted to have a gender party... but we'll see. Funny story, I want a girl and Derek wants a boy, but as we were driving home from the appointment he said, "it is going to be so funny to hear the gender of the baby". I responded with "why", and he stated, "well, we both have prepared for a girl if he says boy neither of us is going to know what to do, we'll be awestruck". And it's so true although he wants a boy, I think as we have prepared to have kids we both have always talked about our little girl, it was a fact we were going to have a girl. Now that we really are pregnant it is going to be interesting to find out if we will be welcoming a lil lady or lil lad.

I always said I would come back...

and I am most likely coming back for the reason you thought I would come back.
We're far enough along and our families and many of our friends know so I figured it would be alright to post. So the cool aunt and uncle will now have to be the cool mom and dad... that exists right? Our little cupcake will be joining us just in time for Christmas, I guess I couldn't ask for a better Christmas gift.
