Book worm

So I absolutely love to read, I love it so much that I am not allowed to buy books that often. Not because I would spend so much money but because I don't pay attention to anything except the book. I seriously don't want to do anything except read. It's kind of ridiculous. So I am telling you this because I want to share my book with you. I just finished reading book four in The Great and Terrible series from Chris Stewart, can I just say it was life changing. Who would have thought a fictional story would have brought me to tears like this story did. I completely recommend it to anyone around.

My own little addition

No I am not preggers but I thought that was a funny title. Anyway, I just wanted to share on this blog that I have finally created a new blog for  all my cakes. I will still be posting them on here as well but The Sweetest Place will be my strictly cakes blog. Oh and here is the link if you want to look or share, The Sweetest Place.

A run... a swim... and a ride...

I just thought that by sharing this with the rest of the blogging world it would get me more motivated. I figured it would help me stay on the path. Derek and I are going to participate in a sprint triathlon before the end of the year. Actually, there is one on my birthday that I think would be really fun to do. How cool would it be to participate in a triathlon on my 25th birthday, it almost sounds too perfect. We just need to decide if we're going to Utah or not that weekend. But if not I will be running, swimming and riding! Wish me luck

California Adventure

So here is the awesomeness of our California trip.

One of my baby sisters got married this last week in San Diego. Derek and I, dragged our feet but we eventually went, just kidding! We were super excited cause we knew we could see family and go to Disneyland! So here are some highlights from our trip!

Derek was so embarrassed to drive with me to San Diego since I only wanted to travel in my scrubbies!

Dom and Derek Photo Shoot

This is my baby broham Austin, this was one of many graduations and I will have to get pictures from my mama but I am very proud of this little guy! 

YAY!! Derek graduated from ASU! This was super exciting, we also attended Dereks brother in laws med school graduation. Let's just say that gave us a little hope for the future...
