Dom has persuaded me to contribute to this blog. I whined, moaned, and threw a few items (we only have two glass cups now), but I finally gave in to her...well, lack for a better term, nagging. First things first, a little business. I know that my supervisor, who is so very pretty, is going to read this post so she needs to know a few things that I demand. First, in order to continue to participate with the blog, it needs to be a little more masculine. Second, I need at least three twenty minute back messages a week. Finally, I am going to need a frozen hot chocolate on the days that I do post.
I entitled this post, "Turtles with Nuts" because of a statement I overheard in the grocery store. I assume that this is what the future holds for this blog. Dom will write interesting posts that depict what is going on in our life, and I will write about the crazy and stupid people we encounter. I pushed my shopping cart up to the cash register and started unloading my items. Behind me a mother and her 6 year old child walked up and the only part of their conversation I heard brought a grin to my face. The mother said, "Of course turtles have nuts, if they didn't have any nuts they wouldn't be a turtle." I looked over at Dom and she gave me the "don't make a comment" look. Well okay, she wasn't talking about real turtles but it was funny.
